The short version

Who we are

Pip's Episodes is a small, early-stage project that turns a topic into a short, interactive learning adventure for a young child. Questions? Email us at day2daylabs@gmail.com.

What we collect — and what we don't

When you sign up to test (through our form), we collect:

Please don't include your child's name or any personal details about them — we don't need them and don't want them.

Inside the app, we don't collect personal information — no accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking cookies, and nothing that identifies your child. The one thing we record is an anonymous count of which episodes get played (for example, “the volcano episode was finished”) — with no information about who played it, no cookie, and no profile — so we can see what's useful and what to build next.

Your child (COPPA)

Pip's Episodes is meant for young children, used with a parent or guardian. We designed it so we do not collect personal information from children — kids don't create accounts or enter personal info. The only personal information we hold is the parent's email and the child's age, which you give us.

The one data flow to know about

When your child asks Pip a free-form question, that topic text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, so it can write the episode, handled under Anthropic's terms. We don't store it. (The five built-in episodes send nothing anywhere.) Please don't type personal information — you never need to.

Where your info lives

Your signup responses are stored in our Google account (Google Forms). The site is hosted on Vercel. We don't share your information with anyone else.

How we use it

Only to run the test: to email you access and occasional updates, and to learn what topics families want. Nothing else.

Deleting your info

Email day2daylabs@gmail.com and we'll delete your signup info. You can stop testing any time. We keep signups only for as long as the test runs, and delete them when it ends.

Changes

If anything here changes, we'll update this page.
